Jeff McDowell is a pastor and professional counselor who, for more than twenty-five years, has been on a journey to understand how people experience real and lasting change. As both a pastor and counselor, he has walked alongside individuals and couples through life transitions, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, seasons of deep uncertainty, and moments of spiritual searching. His heart is simple: to help people experience meaningful transformation and renewed hope.

His work is grounded in Christian faith and shaped by a deep belief that healing begins with identity. Jeff integrates biblical wisdom with evidence-based counseling approaches to support change that goes beyond symptom management and moves toward personal and spiritual renewal. He believes transformation happens when people reconnect with their God-given identity, experience freedom from what has held them back, and begin living with clarity and purpose.

Jeff works with people navigating life transitions, improving relationships, managing anxiety or depression, and those who simply need a safe place to talk and be heard. If you sense that your life is smaller than it was meant to be, he invites you to begin a renovation.

His clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2). He also brings a rich academic foundation through an undergraduate degree in business, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology.

He brings a steady, compassionate presence into the counseling room and creates space where honesty is welcomed and growth can begin.
